I can not even think of the words to describe how I feel when I think about what our American Heros are going through over seas. I just know that every time I hear American Solider it makes me proud to know that I live in a country where people are just as proud as I am to live here. I am gratefull for everyone of you who are serving or has served, because without all of you, we would not be here. You are our strength, our hope, our future, and our pride. I pray for all of you to come home and I can't wait for the day when you no longer need to be over there. God bless you and all of yours for being so strong to do what you do every day of every month. You are the best at what you do and I thank you for that because you are what keeps my family and friends safe.!! I pray for all of you and your comrades who are here or gone. You give your lives up so we may continue ours. God Bless and God speed. |

I was taken aback when I came upon the West Point list of deceased graduates. My son attended the Naval Academy and graduated in 1997. I saw the pictures and names of young men and women who were at Army Navy games the same time as my son. They had their equivalant to Plebe summer the same time. They struggled through their tough academic schedule just as my son. They gave up 4 carefree years of college for tough military/college training. I will always be in their debt. I will always pray for their parents and loved ones. I will never ever forget their sacrifice and love of their school and their country. Every year my son was at the Academy Army won the football game. My son was so disappointed because in college they lived to win these games. But, tonight as I saw the names and pictures of the best and brightest I was glad they had the victories. I know it seems like nothing now, but I know how big it was then. I just wish their class and those around them did not have to pay the price now for our freedom. They allow us to go to football games and not be blown up. They allow us to vote and sleep at night. When they come down from the wall I hope America will remember all they have given. I will never be able to say thank you enough |
